Welcome!

My name is Wendy and I am the owner of Lakeland Art & Framing.

Allow me to give you a brief comapany history...

My dad, John, started the business in Vegreville, Alberta in 1992. After some humble beginnings, he bought a building on mainstreet. The custom framing business grew and grew, adding an art gallery, one hour lab, a photography studio and darkroom.  When I joined the business in 1996, our name was Lakeland Photo & Art Services and it was a very busy place!

In 2002, we decided to relinquish the photography portion of the business, expand, but keep our focus on custom framing and art.  After much searching, we found our "right space" here in Sherwood Park.  How did we decide on Sherwood Park?

We knew people here and had ties to the community. My grandparents homesteaded in the Ardrossan area and Sherwood Park was a larger center with that "small town" feel. We also had clients driving out from Sherwood Park to Vegreville to have photo sessions and framing done.

After all these years, we feel grateful to go to work everyday to do something we love and to have established a terrific clientel, many we can call "friend".

Helping people preserve heirloom items, creating beautiful framing projects, framing art and assisting in home decor is our focus.
